James Wesley Simpson Jr.

Wes was born Lubbock, TX to James Wesley Simpson and Virginia Ruth Moore on February 18, 1942. He went to school at Burkburnett High School in Burkburnett, TX. He graduated from University of Texas in Arlington. He worked as an Electrician for TU Electric for 38 years. He was a veteran of Vietnam and served in the Navy. He was involved in American Legion Post 516 for 54 years. He received Certified Master Scuba Diver.

James Wesley Simpson Jr. was preceded in death by son, James Wesley Simpson III; father, James Wesley Simpson; and stepmother, Ila Florene Simpson; mother, Virginia Ruth Moore.

James Wesley Simpson Jr. is survived by daughter, Tina Ann Fowler of Whiteville, NC, daughter, Stacy Rena Williams; son in law, Christopher David Williams of Jacksboro, TX; brother, Waylon Simpson of CA; grandson, David Wesley Simpson; granddaughter in law, Krystal Simpson of Whiteville, NC; grandson, Dylan Mark Fowler of Whiteville, NC; grandsons, Braden James Williams and Noah Daniel Williams; granddaughter, Scarlet Christina Williams of Jacksboro, TX; great granddaughters, Madison Phipps of Raleigh, NC, Ila Rae Simpson and Carter Rose Simpson of Whiteville, NC; mother of James Wesley Simpson III, Susan Ezell Simpson of Jacksboro, TX; nephew, Scott Simpson of CA; and niece, Lynn Gray of AZ.
