STRONG, James Alden, "Jimmy", age 71, of Forest Hills (Fort Worth), Texas, formerly of Learned, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. He attended school in Raymond, Mississippi and was a farmer, business owner, and longtime truck driver. He was the owner of Big Quick convenience store, The Dusty Mule, Shoot 3, and J & S Mobile Transport. Driving is what finally brought Jimmy to Texas in 1984 when he began to repossess mobile homes. He met the love of his life at the age of 40 and married that same year. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, William Joseph Strong and Mauda Elizabeth Simmons, as well as a brother, Charles David Strong and sister, Mary Margaret Broom. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cynthia Allyce Strong; daughters, Casey Elliot of Wisconsin, and Kimberly Strong and husband Wes of Mississippi; his brother, Joe Strong and wife Louise of Mississippi; sisters, Teresa Blackmon of Mississippi and Sue Ann Williams and husband Earl of Mississippi; step children, Tara Campbell and husband Jason of Texas, and Bradley Toland and wife Emily of Texas; grandchildren Alex Garza, Trevor Toland, Gage Campbell, Trinity Allen, Ayzlie Toland, Allyce Toland, Morgan Bailey, and Isabelle Elliot; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
