Jamie was born to Jake and Ann Hayley and was a 1977 Grand Prairie High School graduate. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Bruce, her sons, Jason Taylor, and wife, Starr; and Cameron Taylor, and his significant other, Andrea, her daughter, Jamie Yvonne Taylor, Her grandchildren, Aeneas, Jaycee, Micah, Dani, Kane, Kai, Riley and Braxton Bear.

Also surviving are her sister, Janet, and husband, Mitchell; her brother, James and his significant other, Mary; her mother, her father-in-law, Eddie, and his wife, Billie; her sisters-in-law, Cindy, and husband, Steven; Susan and her brother-in-law, Paul, and his wife, Crystal. Her uncles, Dan, Dick and Donnie. Her aunts, Lorene, Delores and Syble, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; mother-in-law, grandparents, nephew, Joey and her cousin, Bubba and aunts and uncles.

Jamie loved children and was disappointed she had to wait so long to become a grandmother. It really was not a long wait.

Jamie never doubted her ability to learn. She applied for jobs she wasn't qualified for because she knew she would have nailed it within a week.

Jamie worked at different companies during her career and her drive to excel at whatever she did made her a great employee and co-worker. One of her favorite jobs was Midas Rex Pneumatic Tool Company where she was an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of the company. Her all time favorite was working as a dispatcher and office manager for American Luxury Limousine Company. She was instrumental in coordinating the transportation services for the Desert Storm Parade.

Jamie, a loving wife and daughter, and caring mother and grandmother will be dearly missed.

Jamie's ashes will be laid to rest in the Wilson Prairie Cemetery in Paradise, TX in a family bench.

I felt like i needed to share one more thing to all. I had opportunity to spend more time with my dear jamie when she was at her best and worst. She looked me in eyes and said i want out at her worst. I regret not spending more time with her. It was hard to see my once robust fiesty friend in that way. I admire bruce and ann so much as caregivers . I just regret i didnt go everyday. .
I love you my friend. Hope you forgive me. I know you would have been there for me. . Laura.

Jamie was the best friend a gal could ever ask for. I'll never forget seeing her in the hall at Jefferson Jr High looking lost. I grabbed her & we became best friends. We have so many memories with school, marriages, our wonderful kids & grandkids. Once when I was unemployed & depressed, she came to my home, told me to get out of bed, we're going to Galveston. We had the best time. She's been my favorite person for so long. I miss her, but I know I'll see her again. I love you all, Ann, Bruce, kids. God bless you all.
