Janet "Lindy" Lynn Draper, 67, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023.
A memorial service for Lindy will be held on Monday, January 30th at 11:00am at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 East Lancaster Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76112. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society in Lindy's name.
Lindy was born in Fort Worth Texas to Michael and Mary Jo (Caskey) Teel on July 15, 1955. She graduated from South Garland High School in 1973 where she was a member of the Varsity Southern Belles drill team.
Lindy went on to work as the Supervisor of the Grounds Department at University of Texas in Arlington. On February 13, 1993, she was married to Richard Kelly Draper. Lindy attended Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Mesquite, Texas where she also took care of the plants. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, bible study, camping and traveling.
Lindy is survived by her husband of nearly 30 years, Kelly Draper; her son, Rick Draper, and his wife, Ruby; her granddaughter, Sabina Draper; and her sisters: Julie Tritch, and her husband, Mark, and Jennifer Emigh-Perdue, and her husband, Larry; her nephew: Mason Teel; and her nieces: Hailey Emigh and Sarah Mount, and her husband, Michael, and their children, Morgan and Savannah Mount.
Lindy's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for their care.
