Jean Dozier passed away peacefully on April 7, 2017, the day before her 88th birthday. Jean was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. After high school, Jean attended business school in San Antonio where she met her late husband, Allen Dozier. In 1963 the family relocated to Fort Worth. She was a long time member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church. Jean enjoyed working in retail for over fifty years, retiring after 35 years at Stripling and Cox. She also enjoyed gardening, painting, and recently knitting for her great grandbabies. Jean will be remembered for her feistiness, strong will, and sense of humor. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Allen and daughter in law, Kim. Jean is survived by her children, Gary Dozier and wife Karen, Greg Dozier, Lisa Yeakey and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Abby Seghal and husband Rik, Ashley Clay and husband Clif, Joseph Dozier and wife Crystal, Amanda Ashmead and husband Andrew; great grandchildren, Jack, Olivia, Chloe Jean, and Kimerly Blake; twin sister, Dean Cook; nieces, nephews , family and friends.
