Jeanyne would be the first granddaughter on both sides of her family. Years later she became a big sister to: Lacrisha “Chrissy” Hulin, Annetria “Spoo” Hulin, Karyn “Bo” Hulin, and a bonus sister, Misty Booker. They were often referred to as "JACK" -- a combination of their names -- or sometimes, simply known as The Girls. Among family and friends, Jeanyne was the sweet sister, but if you asked "The Girls" they would have a different opinion on that subject. Jeanyne had all the talent in the family. She could throw down in the kitchen, sing, draw, and cook. She had a passion for all things pink, pigs, otters, and French.
Jeanyne graduated from Trimble Technical High School in 1989. Afterwards, she professionally worked to help children with special needs learn life skills within the Fort Worth School District. Even after her retirement in 2012, she never forgot her co-workers and even had an opportunity to study the Bible with a long-time colleague.
If you asked Jeanyne, what was the most important day in her life, she would tell you June 15, 1991. On this day, she symbolized her dedication to her Heavenly Father, Jehovah God. At a young age she had the opportunity to learn American Sign Language and was able to assist with interpreting meetings for the deaf and hard of hearing, at the Meadowbrook Congregation. On September 1, 2008, she joined the Dallas Sign Language Congregation and her spiritual family grew exponentially. As time went on, Jeanyne's health fluctuated. When her health was in a stable condition, her priorities were studying the bible, attending Christian meetings, her ministry, and encouraging others. During times her health was weak, she leaned on Jehovah in prayer and her beautiful network of support.
Jeanyne is survived by: parents, Alfred and Florence Hulin; sisters Misty Booker, Lacrisha Hulin, Annetria Hulin, and Karyn Hulin; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a spiritual family that stretches from here to South America to England to the Netherlands. Jeanyne will be dearly missed. We look forward to the time when Jehovah's promise at John 5:28,29 will be fulfilled, "All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life..."
