Jerrie was born July 5, 1920, in Fort Worth. On July 10, 1937, she married Patrick Eugene McCoy, who preceded her in death in 1985. They shared 48 years of marriage together.
For most of her life, her main residence was in Fort Worth, where she and her husband owned Pat McCoy Plumbing and Heating. Later, they retired to Lake Whitney. Jerrie will be remembered for her love of the lake and fishing, her great sense of humor, her love for animals, dancing and listening to all kinds of music. She was a member of the Soroptimist Club of Fort Worth and Travis Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pat McCoy; brother, Oliger Howell; and a son, Terry McCoy.
Survivors: Daughter, Francine Sanderson and husband, James, of Whitney; son, Ronnie McCoy and wife, Cathy, of Mansfield; daughter, Gayle Wadkins and husband, Gary, of Granbury; daughter, Tahamia Spain of Houston; daughter, Terryca Fuller and husband, Bob, of San Antonio; Sandy McCoy, wife of her late son, Terry NcCoy; niece, Patty.
