Jerry Moore Swanson

Memorial Service 1:00 pm Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 1313 S.E. Parkway (199) Azle, Texas. Pastor Craig Schinnerer will officiate.

Jerry was born in Michigan on September 30, 1935 to Nels and Garnet Swanson. He and his wife owned a marina for 10 years prior to his retirement. His favorite pastime was fishing. He especially loved fishing for crappie.

]The family would like to extend a BIG “Thank You” to the nurses from Community Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his Mother in Law, Juanita Dutton, and Greta Swanson.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Swanson; Daughter, Jeri Dimitriadis (Tom); Son, Todd Swanson; Daughter, Dina Brown; Son, David Kevin who prayed with him shortly before he died. He is also survived by his Sister, Sandra Sue Hanford (Phil); Sister in Law, Jeanette Wolfe. Jerry leaves three granddaughters, five grandsons, and two great grandchildren along with one niece and five nephews and a host of many great friends who will cherish his memory.
