Those who knew Jerry will remember his quick wit, clever sense of humor, and the kind words he always seemed to have ready. He had a way of making people laugh and a heart that made people feel cared for. He was a conservative, hardworking, loyal, and genuine man who believed in helping others and doing things right.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Ross; his stepson, Mark Smith, and wife, Kayce; his stepdaughter, Brandi Biles, and husband, Joseph; his brother, James Randall Ross III; his sister, Jackie Fox; nine step-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, friends, and his beloved dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Randall Ross Jr. and Valda Jean Brammer Ross.
Jerry leaves behind a life marked by hard work, loyalty, laughter, kindness, and a willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 28, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas.
Graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
