Jerry Ward was born June 10, 1940 in Shattuck, Oklahoma. His family moved to Alvarado, TX in the mid-forties and he was a resident of north Texas for the rest of his life. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1964 and later worked as a computer programmer for various companies, including Electronic Data Systems. Jerry enjoyed watching baseball and loved all animals. He was very proud of his daughters.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Ward.
He is survived by his daughters, Laura Eakin and husband, Aaron, of Fort Worth; Melissa Pinson and husband, Donny, of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Asher, Eli, and Samuel Eakin of Fort Worth and Sabine Pinson of Corpus Christi; brother Jack Ward; nephew, Joe Ward; and niece, Rebekah Ward of Fort Worth.
