Jerry was born February 25, 1941 in Dallas. He retired after more than 40 years of service from Bell Helicopter, in many different aspects of craft components, mainly blades. He was involved in testing, troubleshooting, and repair of many different military and civilian platforms.
Jerry was preceded in death by wife, Julie young, brother James Young, and parents Rabel and Agnes Young.
Jerry is survived by son, Stanley Young and daughter-in-law Dorothy “Dodie” Young, and stepson Carl Christian; grandchildren, Allie, Emory, and Jaci Young. Sisters Shirley Willeford and husband David; Sue Cross and husband David; JoAnn Ellis and husband Ardy; nieces and nephews, Scott Young, Johnny Ellis, Gifftane Miller, Robert Erwin, Tim Erwin, Donny Lote, and Tammy Rickert; along with, many, many friends.
