Leveda was born in Alvarado, Texas to James and Margaret Lambert on October 6, 1963. She attended elementary and high school in Alvarado. She then attended Tarleton State University in Stevensville, Texas where she earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration degree. Leveda worked as a teacher for 22 years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons at both FCI Three Rivers, Texas and FMC Carswell, Texas where she helped inmates learn basic subjects and attain a GED if needed. She enjoyed her work as a teacher. She was a person who was always willing to help others in need. She liked to sing, play the flute, draw, paint, travel, do knitting and tatting, take care of her pet's, cook, collect coins and stamps, and fishing.
She is preceded in death by her father James L Lambert and her mother Margaret Cain Lambert.
She is survived by her husband Arthur Neadle, her brother Edward Lambert, her sister Gladys Lambert, and many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Crossmark Church where Leveda attended.
A visitation for Jimmie will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will occur Monday, May 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM at Crossmark Church followed by a reception and burial at DFW National Cemetery.
