

He attended Dunbar High School and furthered his education at Tarrant County College and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
Jimmy's passion for serving others led him to the fire academy, where he became a firefighter paramedic. He was later promoted to the role of Driver Engineer, a position he held with great pride and dedication.
From a young age, Jimmy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a dedicated member of First Timothy Baptist Church.
On August 28, 2024, Jimmy answered God's call to his heavenly home. He was welcomed by his grandparents, Jimmie Small Jr. and Lettie Mae Small, his father, Robert Bell III, and his aunts, uncles, and cousins who preceded him in death.
Jimmy leaves behind his loving wife, Jerrieal Small, along with their beautiful children, Jayla Small, Jimmy Small IV, and Jaxon Small. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Yvonne Small; his brother, Jonathan Small; sisters, Racquel Small (Tim Johnson) and Kimberly Small; his nephews, Jonathan Jr. and Keion Small; along with his Father-in-law, Jerry Lumar (Kim Lumar); Mother-in-law, Loreal White; Brother-in-law Jahmad Lumar; Sister-in-laws Jalayah and Jazelle, Nephew Nolan Price; Niece Naeemah Mitchell and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
