Jo Ann Turner, age 80, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was born July 18, 1943 to Walter and Bertha Porterfield. Jo Ann graduated from Haltom High School and studied Art at Texas Wesleyan University. Jo Ann also graduated from St Joseph School of Nursing, and received and Associates from Tarrant County College in Information Technology Associates. She attended Polytechnic United Methodist Church, and during her spare time she collected coins, traveled, and loved to paint.
Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Tom Turner; parents, Walter and Bertha Porterfield; siblings, Sue Rushing, Faye Porterfield, Delores, Edwards, and Jack Porterfield. She is survived by her brother, David Porterfield; nephews, Jeff Porterfield, Nathan Porterfield, and Lonnie Rushing; nieces, Teresa Rushing, Melinda Gilmore, and Suprenna Rushing.
