Born to Velma and Arthur Pennybacker on July 13th, 1934 in Wadesville, West Virginia, Jo An was the kindest, most loyal and faithful friend to all who knew her.
'Mama Nan', as named by her first grandchild Amy, loved spending time with her family, telling stories, giving advise and helping everyone out when she could. She loved our family get-togethers and she loved her church, even though she had not been able to attend in recent years. Leaving us has left a hole in our hearts but she will be forever reunited with her family in heaven.
Preceded in death by both parents, step-father Paul Harper, brothers Carl and Billy Pennybacker, husband Bill Holman Sr., daughter Lynne Akin, twin sons David and Doug Holman and granddaughter Kelley Renee (Holman) Chambers.
She is survived by youngest son Billy Charles Holman Jr., wife Leigh Anne and grandson Kevin; daughter-in-law Elaine Holman, granddaughter Amy McGhee, husband Brandon and great-granddaughters Kayley and Kamryn; granddaughter Emily Updike, husband Coy and great-grandchildren Ava, Colt and Logan; brother John Pennybacker and nieces Jennifer and Karen and their families, as well as her extended family in Weatherford.
Visitation at 9 am on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026 at the Chapel of Chimes, Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, followed by funeral service and burial beginning at 10 am.
