JoAnn Tillery Carroll

JoAnn was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Charles Lee and Eula Bee Burch Tillery on November 13, 1943. She went to school at Lubbock High School in Lubbock, TX. She married the love of her life Lyndon Von Carroll on July, 27, 1963 in Lubbock. She worked as a customer service representative for Ace Hardware for 33 years before retiring in 2017. JoAnn was an avid reader who loved mysteries and suspense books as well as cookbooks and magazines. She loved gardening and could grow just about anything, she definitely had a green thumb. Cooking was her passion and she loved recipes. She would write recipes down on any scrap of paper she could find. But, more than anything, she loved her family. Her grandbabies were her world and she adored them.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her beloved husband Von, her parents, Charles and Eula and her sister Darlene.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter, Danielle Oremus and husband Britt, grandchildren Kaitlin “Kat” and Connor, sisters Sandra Sims and Laurie Tillery, brother David Tillery and numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

JoAnn's family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Community Healthcare Of Texas and their hospice team. They were all a blessing and cared so deeply for mom and our family.
