

Joanne Bolden Hatter was born November 27, 1942, the 2nd child born to Fleet and Mattie D. Bolden in Fire Point, Texas (Hunt County, Texas). She spent her early years in Midlothian, Texas, where she went to the public schools and graduated from Midlothian school district.
Joanne accepted Christ at an early age where she attended church in Venus, Texas. She met and married Harold G. Allen and to this union 3 sons were born, Harold D. Allen, Sr., Anthony G. Allen, Sr. and Marcus Allen. They divorced and she was later united in marriage to Criss Hatter.
Joanne was a Christian believer, she and Criss moved to Fort Worth and she became a member of 1st Greater New Hope Baptist Church where she became a Evangelist and Minister.
Joanne was a successful business self employed entrepreneur. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother , sister and friend.
Joanne passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
Those who will cherish her memories include her husband of 47 years, sons, Harold D. Allen, Sr., Anthony G. Allen, Sr. and Marcus L. Allen; siblings, Margaret Freeman, Donald Bolden and Arthur Bolden; step children, Arlene Robinson and Criss Wood; 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends
