John Paul Broussard Jr., age 50, of Joshua, Texas died on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at home after a four year battle with cancer. He was born October 4, 1974, in Beaumont, Texas, to Kathy Forse Broussard and John Paul Broussard Sr.
John took medical retirement in December 2020, after 22 years of service with AT&T.
John loved his family dearly, especially his sons; Sebastian Lance and Brody Patrick. In the past year his joy was his grandson Felix Thomas Broussard. He also loved to travel, especially with his sons. Some of his favorite places were Hawaii, Colorado and Galveston.
John is survived by his son, Sebastian Lance Broussard and wife Hannah; son Brody Patrick Broussard; grandson Felix Thomas Broussard; sister Kattie Butler, and husband Jack; nieces, Summer Carrell, Jayden Butler; nephews, Colten Carrell, Alexander Kuhlman; grandparents, Bobby and Frances Forse, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
John is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lettie and Lawrence Diamond; grandparents, Rodney and Delores Broussard.
His cremation will take place at Moore Crematory in Arlington, Texas.
