

The family asks that you join them in celebrating the life of John Burton Collette at 2 PM Friday at The Hills Church. Visitation will be held at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel from 6-8 PM on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Family Care fund of The Hills Church.
John Burton Collette was born in Chihuahua, Mexico to George Burton Collette and Aurora (Montes) Collette. He grew up in El Paso, graduated from Coronado High School and attended the University of Texas in El Paso before moving to Fort Worth. Burt worked for Star Bible Publishing before becoming a correction officer for the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office where he has worked for the last nineteen years. Burt attended The Hills Church and had been an active member for over thirty years. He was a loving husband, father and friend. Though our hearts our breaking as we have to release him from our presence, we are rejoicing in knowing he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and we will be reunited with him again one day
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Carlos and Mario.
Survivors: Wife of 29 years, Kim Collette; children, Mallory, Mariah and Ethan Collette; siblings, Ana Ayala, Reyes Ley, Lupe Montes and Delores Margarita Ojeda; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
