

John Henry Gibson IV was born on January 7, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland to John Henry Gibson Sr. and Anna Kitchen Gibson. He departed this earthly world on February 19. 2022 at Texas Health Huguley Hospital in Burleson, Texas.
John graduated high school from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. He then went on to graduate in 1975 from Calhoon MEBA Engineering School and retired as licensed Merchant Marine Chief Engineer. Later on he then went on to earn his Doctored and PhD. in religious studies from Vision International University. After he retired he became a licensed life insurance agent with Primerica.
John met and married Alice in 1984 in Baltimore, Maryland then they moved to Texas.
John was a faithful servant of God and was a member of Turning Point church where he served in the media ministry.
John loved and cared for his wife Alice and his family until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Gibson.
John leaves behind to cherish his memories: his wife Alice Gibson, daughter Nicole “Nikki” Gibson, stepson Flynn Lindsay Sr.-Grandsons Vonte & Dezmond Rogers,Flynn Jr.,Jeremy, Flynn III Lindsay
and Granddaugther Jasirae Lindsay. And a host of great-grand kids, cousin Harriet Harris and faithful family & friends Ken Koehler (Heidi) and Clyde Jackson (Constance).
