John Doyle Hall

John was born in Sudan, Texas on July 16, 1935 to Homer and Florence Hall. He graduated from Comanche High School in 1954. He attended Tarleton State and Texas Tech universities before enlisting in the U.S. Army. He successfully ran John Hall Decorating Service for many years before working for Everman ISD. He enjoyed reading, fishing, and traveling. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

John is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Emma Jeanette Hall McCall and her husband Loyd Henry McCall Jr.

John is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years Peggy Hall, brother Joe Hall and his wife Betty, son John A. Hall and his wife Mishelle, daughter Tammy Kelley and her husband Glenn, granddaughter Katherine Velazquez and her husband Ralph, grandson Matthew Hall, grandson Stephen Kelley and his wife Keri, grandson Christopher Kelley and numerous nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be held at Laurel Land Memorial Park on February 10, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral services will also be held at Laurel Land Memorial Park on February 11, 2017 at 2:00pm. Jim Tucker, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Everman, will be officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be his son John A. Hall, his son-in-law Glenn Kelley, his grandsons Matthew Hall, Stephen Kelley, Christopher Kelley and Ralph Velazquez.
