John Reed Lewis

John Reed "Bubba" Lewis of Glenn Heights, Texas, was born on February 24, 1967, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Mary and Lynn Lewis. He passed from this earthly life on June 10, 2026, at 3:13 p.m. in a Dallas hospital.

John graduated from Weatherford High School in 1985 and from Texas Christian University in 1991. A proud band member from junior high through college, he spent his adult life serving customers through his work with Radio Shack, T-Mobile, and Fidelity Investments.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lynn Lewis, in August 2022, and his brother, Trey Lewis, in January 2026.

John is survived by his three children, Ashley Lewis of Lewisville, Johnathan Reed "J.R." Lewis of Glenn Heights, and Laura Lewis of Denton; and two granddaughters, Stephanie and Katie.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
