John’s life long passion was restoring old cars, which he happily passed on to his children and eventually his three grandsons. John always cherished time spent with his one and only granddaughter, Savannah. John’s love of music was also passed on and shared with his daughter. He also loved to collect and restore antique radios. John never met a stranger and will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held on June 22, 2019 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel located at 6001 Rufe Snow Dr, Fort Worth Texas 76148. A reception for family and friends will be held following the service.
Although traditional flowers would be welcomed and greatly appreciated, in lieu of this, please consider a monetary gift in an effort to fulfill his life long dream of restoring his 1954 Mercury. John was working on this project and his sons would love nothing more than to see this project thru to its completion. Any contribution, big or small, would help this dream become a reality.
"Well if I had Money, Tell you what I'd do, I'd go downtown and buy a Mercury or two.
Crazy 'bout a Mercury, Lord I'm crazy bout a Mercury."
