He was raised in Bradford, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school he enlisted in the Army and then transferred to the Navy, serving in the Vietnam War with the Construction Battalion. He was a proud member of the Seabees.
His love for working with his hands continued as he explored many fields of construction and mechanics. His passion for helping people eventually lead him to Abilene Christian University where he pursued a degree in youth and family ministry. When he moved to Fort Worth and became a member of The Hills Church he found many opportunities to continue to help those in need through Menders for the Master and 6 Stones ministry. He was the true definition of a servant for the Lord. Every task he faced with the "Can Do" spirit.
