Johnnie W. Murphy, 90, passed away April 2, 2017. The family will have a private memorial service. Johnnie was born August 10, 1926 in Beaumont, TX to Johnny and Vera Murphy. Johnnie was the oldest of four brothers. After being discharged from the Army Johnnie attended University of North Texas majoring in business. Johnnie's warm and friendly personality gained him many friends over the years. Johnnie was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley; brother, Leroy; and Irene's son Mark. He is survived by his wife, Irene and her four children, Cecilia, Ronnie, Michael, and Al, and several grandchildren; brothers, Jim Murphy and wife Lucy Ann, Bill Murphy and wife Dolores; and several nieces and nephews.
