Johnnie Eloise was born January 1, 1926 to John Jefferson and Mattie Lucinda Smalley in Floyd County, Texas. She married Clinton M. Rhodes. They were charter members of St. Matthew United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Sherry Guice.
Johnnie Eloise is survived by her son, John Richard Rhodes (Jane); daughter, Donna Sue Baird (Ross); grandchildren, Tracy Wilhoite (Mark), Andy Rhodes (Carla), Clinton Baird, and April Standifer (Jason); great grandchildren, Austin, Ava, Presli, Jersi, Kaelyn, Mayburn, Rhylie, Sawyer, Tyler, and Peyton.
