Johnnie Mae cherished the simple joys of life and found great happiness in caring for others. She had a passion for cooking and loved preparing meals that brought family and friends together around the table. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and

she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones. A devoted servant of God, Johnnie Mae faithfully lived out her Christian values through worship, prayer, and service to others. Known for her warm smile and infectious laughter, she had a special way of bringing joy and comfort to everyone she encountered. Her loving spirit, gentle

heart, and unwavering faith left an enduring impact on all who were blessed to know her.

Johnnie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Sr. and Novella Gurley; her sister, Beverly Gurley; her brother, Norman Gurley Sr. and her nephew, Norman Gurley Jr.

Johnnie Mae leaves to cherish her memories, her sister, Marcia Jones; her brothers, Ernest (Vickie) Gurley Jr; Sherwin Gurley; John (Venetta) Gurley, and Frank (Sheila) Gurley. Her nephews, Delbert (Vanessa) Gurley; Kelan Jones; Cameron Gurley; Lionel Gurley; Lamar Gurley; Brandon Gurley; Jonathan Gurley; Kyle (Michelle) Gurley; Brian Gurley; her nieces, Jocelyn Vazquez; Nakeisha (Daryl) Ferguson; Nashunda Greathouse; Natoia (Tyrone) Franklin; Calandra Gurley; Nakinya Gurley; Bianca Gurley; Cheri (Cederick) Leath; her dear friend, Devon Daniels, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and special friends.
