Johnnie L. Taylor, 87, traded his earthly house for a new home in glory on Thursday, June 2, 2016, in the comfort of his residence with his loving family at his side. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, Lake Como Church of Christ, 5601 Fletcher Ave., Brother Bryan Moss, minister, officiating. The Taylor family will greet friends immediately following services in the church fellowship hall. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Survivors: Left to mourn his passing are his children, Betty A. Farrow (Bunkley), John E. Taylor (Shelia), Joyce A Fulton (Ron), Steven L. Taylor, Bettie L. Taylor; sister, Annie R. Garland; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and Friends.
