Visitation will be 4:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, October 6, 2021 at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 7, 2021 at Shannon Rufe Snow Drive Funeral Chapel at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel and Cemetery.

Jose was born in San Miguel, El Salvador to Gregorio Rivera and Francisca Ventura on January 1, 1976. He went to school at Centro Escolar Cirilo Antonio Quíntanilla Vargas. He married Maricela Pineda. He worked as a lead in the grounds department for Carroll ISD for 9 years.

Jose is preceded in death by Gregorio Rivera, Francisca Ventura, Luisa Rivera, Gregorio Rivera & Jorge Rivera.

Jose is survived by Wife: Maricela Pineda; Daughters: Elizabeth Sibrian & Julissa Rivera; Sons: Irvin Hernandez, Jonathan Rivera & Jose Rivera ; Grandkids: Jonatan Rivera & Jan Olvera; Siblings: Pasita Rivera, Francisco Rivera & Maria Rivera

Pallbearers will be Jose Rodriguez, Jose Cisneros, Emilio Campos, Edwin Hernandez, Alexander Orellana & Eleonal Melendez
