

Julia Ann Ward, 83, of Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with our Heavenly Father early Sunday morning, September 21, 2014, surrounded by family. Funeral Services will be held at New Hope Fellowship Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Laurel land Funeral Home on September 25, 2014. Julia, who often went by Judy, was born November 26, 1930 to JC Hunt and Tessie Cullen Hunt in Abilene, Texas. Upon moving to Fort Worth, she met her husband, William A. Ward, who preceded her in death in 1996. Judy was an energetic soul, always ready for a hot cup of coffee and some good conversation. She was extremely active, spending many of her days at local bazaars offering items for sale that she put so much live into restoring. She adored antiques and anything with an interesting history. Judy as well enjoyed cooking and could win anyone over with a sweet slice of homemade cake or pie. She loved her church, her many friends and spending time with family. Julia Ann is preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Hunt and is survived by her sister, Norma Nash; brother, Jerry Hunt and his wife, Zelman and sister-in-law, Betty Kay Hunt; children, Norman Ward, Cynthia Moore and Her husband Darrell, Donald Ward and Peggy Walker; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends.
