I have so many things I want to say about Karen, and I can't say all of them in this letter. Karen was one of two women that shaped my life for the better, the other was my wife. I can still remember when she always walked up to me and cocked her head to one side and looked up at me and smiled. You had a beautiful smile and happy eyes.You meant alot to me and you still do. I can remember our spacial times together.You and I meant alot to each other, and we told each other so.Karen, I want you to know that God loves you, and your family loves you and I love you and that will never change. I know where you are resting, and I am coming to see you periodically. God bless you.You made my life better.

As Pam and I remembered Karen and the ways she touched the Whites Family...not only was she the best babysitter on Cole Street but how much fun she was in youth group when Mom and Dad were youth sponsors at Carter Park.  We shared lots of great memories of the whole Parrish family and are so thankful to have grown up with such wonderful people.  Our love and prayers are with you all as you grieve.

Dear Reggi, Tammy and Mom: Karen was my mentor and she patiently took me under her wing at the beginning of my insurance career in 1984 (I was 17). To this day, I am still working in the industry and I always give her credit for teaching me the basics of the insurance industry, customer service and accuracy.  I had the pleasure of seeing her a few years ago at a class and enjoyed lunch with her.  I am so sorry for your loss and pray that God will comfort you during this difficult time.  Just know that HE is caring for her as she did us.  God Bless you all.

God has many ways of reminding us that the beautiful spirit of Karen goes higher and farther than we would ever imagine. Going all the way to perfect peace with God. No one can take away the pain and loss that mother, Tammi and I feel, but hopefully we can take comfort in knowing that Karen is with God in his wonderful and beautiful surroundings with daddy, friends and all the "pets" that she loved; and that one day, we'll all be together again. Karen was a dear friend during those wonderful Carter Park years we all spent together.  Later, I remember seeing her beautiful face and glorious smile across the campus at TWC.  Her serenity was always a balm to my soul, and I am thankful to have called her my friend so long ago, growing up.  I pray God's blessings upon each of you in her family, and send my love across the miles.
