Karren June Bremer

June 29, 1941October 7, 2021

Born in Grandview Texas to Seaborn and Evelyn Willis. June attended Rio Vista High School and graduated from Joshua High school in 1959. She is the beloved wife of Tyrus Bremer Fort Worth, Texas. June worked for Myers/Mitchell's department store on Seminary drive in Fort Worth, Texas for about 15 years where she had many friends and clients that depended on her “fashionista” style to outfit them with their wardrobes. She met the love of her life Ty Bremer there in 1982 where they married shortly after. October 12, 2021 will be their 39th wedding anniversary. She has three children, Leisa Clark, Todd Spurgeon and Jill Spurgeon-LaForm .

June was a true tough Texas woman who raised her children to be strong Christians and carry her legacy and the fruits of her labor to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She passed very peacefully in her home where she wanted to be in her last days on this earth. She was received by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shortly after for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

June and Ty were long time members of Southcreek Baptist Church and were nursing home visitation volunteers for many years. Pop’s wife and our Mama and Mimi will be greatly missed on this earth but we know that there will be a joyful reunion with her once again and our separation is but temporary.

She is preceded in death by her parents Seaborn and Evelyn Willis and her sister Janie Lou Russell. She is survived by her beloved husband Tyrus Bremer of Fort Worth, Leisa and Gregory Clark of Gold Coast Australia. Todd and Kathy Spurgeon of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Jill Spurgeon- LaForm and Gregory LaForm of Alvarado, Texas. Brother, Larry Willis of Fort Worth, Texas. Beloved Mimi of Joseph David Hill of Fort Worth, Texas, Janine Clark of Brisbane Australia, Jonathan and Olivia Clark of Brisbane Australia, Justin Clark of Gold Coast, Australia. Sarah and Brandon Ball of Fort Worth, Texas. Jacob and Kiersten Spurgeon of Huntsville, Alabama. Celena and Thomas Grant of Huntsville, Alabama. Great grandchildren – Landon Ball, Emmitt Spurgeon, Harrison Clark, Whitten Spurgeon, Penelope Grant and Eleanor Clark. Many Nieces and Nephews. And lest we not forget her daughter in Christ Jeanette Culwell of Arlington, Texas.

My Little Mama,
I am so thankful for you and all you did for us. I know you are with our Lord and Savior and I praise Him for his sacrifice that we all may be together again soon.
