

Kay was born February 28, 1932, to Homer and Lena Carver. She was born and raised in Cushing, OK. After graduating from Cushing High school, she attended Oklahoma State University. While at Oklahoma State University Kay was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority where she met many life long friends. She earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. While attending OSU, she met and married her husband of 54 years, Theodore ‘Ted’ Byron Hall. Ted and Kay had three daughters, two sons-in-laws, six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Kay was an honorary member of the kids table; her spirit was uplifted by the simple joy’s children bring until her very last days on earth. Kays life was marked by her inexplicable capacity to connect to people around her and her ability to make and keep good friends. She was above all else a deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, Theodore Byron Hall; daughters, Sally Barker and Susan Owens.
Kay is survived by her daughter, Kim Church; son-in-law, David Church; son-in-law Dave Barker, grandchildren, Jennifer Driggers, Dana Church, Amy Rankin, Travis Barker, Danielle Vieck and Davey Barker; and 12 great grandchildren.
Graveside service to be held May 16th, 2025 at 3:30PM, and afterwards the Celebration of Life will be at Kay’s house.
