Kenneth was born in Valley Mills on Aug. 6, 1928, to Charles H. and Mary Lane Sisserson. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 1945 and from Southwestern University in Georgetown in 1948. Kenneth received a master of arts degree from SMU in 1954 and went on to teach mathematics at Eastern Hills High School. He retired from teaching in 1991 after 40 years and became a member of the Retired Teachers Association. Kenneth was a member of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church and played piano for the Wesleyan Sunday School Class. He was an avid volunteer and donated much of his time to serving bistro, the Rotary Club and was a member of the Soul Food group. He was also a member of Code Blue for the Fort Worth Police Department and was chairman of the Book of Memory and Appreciation Committee and the Scholarship Committee of the Auxiliary Club for the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital of Fort Worth and served 7,622 hours of service for which he was awarded a 20-year plaque for Pastoral Care Volunteering. Kenneth was also a sergeant in the U.S. Army and served two years of duty.
Survivors: Sisters, Jane Mills and Mary Lou Sumner and husband, Bob; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; special friends, Bill Harris, Dale Wiggins and Dick and Lois Bogusch; and everyone in the community whose lives he touched.
