

Kevin was born on December 26, 1990, a day after Christmas. December 27,2024 in the 5 o'clock am hour Kevin answered the call from God at the precious age of 34 a day after his birthday. Kevin was truly a gentle giant. His heart was as big as his stature, and he embraced life with an unmatched warmth and kindness. Kevin was more than just Moma’s baby; he was a father , a husband, a brother, a friend, a comedian, and a protector.
Kevin gave his like to God at an early age. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church where he participated in the drill team and enjoyed spending time with his church family.
From a young age, Kevin displayed a brilliance that was truly exceptional. His love for learning shone brightly during his elementary school days, particularly in spelling bees. Kevin participated in every single one, and with his sharp mind and determination, he emerged victorious each time. Those moments were not just about winning; they were a testament to his relentless spirit and dedication.
But Kevin was more than just a spelling bee champion. He had a unique sense of humor that could lighten any room. His witty remarks and infectious laughter brought smiles to our faces, reminding us to find joy in the little things. Kevin had an uncanny ability to see the world through a lens of positivity, teaching us that a good laugh can make even the toughest days a little brighter.
Kevin attended Wedgewood Middle school where he played football, and he use to dominate! During the time of him playing football he inherited the name “KC”. Kevin loved to make up his own rap versus in his past time and often dreamed of being a celebrity rapper during those times he called himself “ Mr. 817”.
One of Kevin’s greatest loves was movies, especially “King Kong." This film was symbolic to him—just like King Kong, who was big and had a mighty roar, Kevin had a larger-than-life presence that commanded attention. Yet, beneath that strong exterior, he was a gentle soul, filled with love and compassion. He showed us that true strength lies not just in power, but in the kindness, we extend to others.
Kevin’s passion for life was evident in everything he did. Whether it was sharing a laugh over a favorite film, engaging in deep conversations, or simply being there for friends and family, he made every moment count. His legacy will live on in our hearts, reminding us to embrace our passions and cherish our loved ones.
He had an incredible ability to love deeply and selflessly, always willing to give his last to those in need. Family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with his family. His laughter filled our hearts, and his spirit brought us together.
Kevin, you will forever remain in our hearts. We will carry the memories of your laughter, your love, and your unwavering support with us always. Thank you for being the wonderful son/person that you were. We will miss you more than words can express, but we will take peace in knowing that your love will continue to shine through all of us.

Kevin Clater was in preceded in death by his grandparents – Patricia Hobson, Earl and Barbara Clater, Larry Edwards. Those left to cherish his memories are: His Wife, Lanika Washington; Mother- Eukine Hobson-Parker, Fathers – Kevin Clater Sr., Ryan Parker; His Children, The Mother Of - Karstyn Washington , Kiran Clater is His Wife, Lanika Washington; The Mother Of Kevin Clater, III is Audrey Cheaatom; Sisters- Kindra Clater , Kiara Clater, Kendall Clater, Kayla Clater, Kennedy Clater, Kiley Clater, Katlynn Clater, Tiana Clater, Raven Clater; Brothers- Marquist Fulcher, Ryan Parker , Kendrick Clater, Calvin Clater, Desmond Allison Grandparents; Gary and Sheryl Dawson, Madeline Winkfield.
