Play Tribute Movie

Kevin entered this world on January 20,1972 in Ft Worth, TX. He was the only child born to his dear mother, Sandra D Willis Weathersby (deceased in 2018). Kevin was the first grandson of Helen M Willis and Oscar Willis (deceased). He was a son of God who was protected at birth with a promise that he would never be left alone. From the beginning of his life, Kevin was unique. He was born with a happy spirit and a bright future, a vessel with wisdom beyond his years. He was a quick learner who spoke with conviction and enjoyed time with family and friends. He strongly believed in the power of GOD. His early years were spent with family at Mt Gilead Baptist Church in Ft Worth, TX and Mt Olive Baptist Church in Arlington, TX. He accepted Christ at a young age while attending Brentwood Baptist Church, in Houston, TX after Sandra accepted a job there. Kevin was very active in church and sports while in Houston. He graduated from Kempner High School in Sugarland, TX and began attending college at UTA, Arlington, TX. Around the age of 26, he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) after years of inconclusive exams. Kevin was married and had a young family to provide for at the onset of his illness, but he never complained or expressed resentment about the hardships endured while living on this earth. He experienced many trials and pain that few could bare. Kevin’s life was indeed an example and lesson for all to learn and live by. He never wanted pity, just love. God’s love and mercy provided the faith and strength needed to sustain his life’s journey with the support of his family by his side. Kevin peacefully made his transition on Thursday April 4, 2019, to finally rest in the loving arms of his heavenly father and to suffer no more, to receive a promise of, “Well Done my good and faithful servant and son, Well Done”. Kevin leaves behind his only born son, Jaron Xavier Willis; grandmother- Helen M Willis, who never forgot a birthday or holiday; devoted aunts -Rosalyn Wiley, Doris White, and Debra Roberts (Al Roberts, Sr); uncles -John Willis (Iris), Donald Willis, and Paris Willis; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

Kevin, may you Rest in Peace forever…..
