Koloma was born in 1937 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 29, 2026. Her family moved from Hunt County to Fort Worth when she was young, and she graduated from Technical High School. Koloma became a Christian at 11 years old and was a member at Alsbury Baptist Church.
She worked for both Travelers Insurance and Continental Insurance for many years. Koloma was proud of her many professional accomplishments, including being one of the first women to be named as an Insurance Adjuster in Fort Worth. After many successful years, she retired in 1992.
In retirement, Koloma enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends. She spent many enjoyable days at her lake house, camping, and playing games as often as possible. She always said she could teach anyone how to play Texas 42 (dominoes) - “If you can count from 1 to 6, I can teach you how to play 42”. Truth be told, she usually won!
Koloma was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Glasscock, her son, Larry Deaton, and her sister, Judy Howle. She is survived by numerous family members and friends who are left with fond memories and will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth beginning at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. The funeral will be immediately following the visitation at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
