I grew up in the same area with Larry and went to the same little Village Creek Elementary and on to the big "city" schools. Hard to believe he's gone. Prayers for his family during this time of farewell. May God be with all of you.

When we lose family, and great friends like Larry Kelly, it is as though we lose a part of ourselves. I met Larry in 1977 and I liked him right away. He gave my Mother a used car, the same one Jennifer and Ryan used as their first driver. Sadly now, Mom and Larry are no longer with us; but I know they are safe with Jesus.
God Bless the Kelly family.

Larry was the best ever! I had the great honor of having him as my supervisor and teacher at the City of Arlington. I am truly grateful for all of Larry's help and patience as he shared his knowledge of building inspector with me. I will never forget how funny he was-once I was walking by him with my hands full of files and he says to me "Got a match!" What a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
