Larry was born February 15, 1942 to Mildred Fae Wren and Steven Jackson Wren in Fort Worth. He graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1960 and worked tirelessly on the 50 Year Class reunion celebrated in 2010. Larry served our country in the U.S. Army and after discharge, he completed his BBA degree at Texas Wesleyn College. His early career was spent in pharmaceutical sales but his dream to own his own business was realized in Wren's Small Engine Repair located on E. Lancaster until he retired. Besides the love of his family and friends, he LOVED golf. His most fun days were spent playing golf with his Poly buddies, especially Bill Telford. But Larry would even play by himself to enjoy the game and be outdoors.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his older brother, Gerald Wren and his beloved puppy, Fred.
Survivors: His wife, Linda; son, Bryan Wren; stepchildren, John Rogers (Cynthia); Catherine Dickey(Jason); seven grandchildren, niece, nephew and many cousins and other family members and dear friends.
Arrangements under the direction of Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel & Cemetery, Fort Worth, TX.
