Lavonia and my mom, Carolyn Daniels, were friends many years ago in Abilene. As a result, Kathy and I became friends while we were in elementary school. I have so many memories of Lavonia - she was absolutely gorgeous, inside and out, and always graciously opened her home to us. My prayers are with Kathy, Ricky, and Chris and their families. I’m sure Lavonia and Mom are sharing memories together in Heaven!

Lavonia was a great mother-in-law. She was always sweet and thoughtful and had such a warm comforting way about her. I'll remember her laughing at my face when I saw her Kombucha and she told me she drinks it. I'll remember Chris and her talking and laughing on the phone together countless times. I'll remember watching her drink tea and knit blankets and sweaters and other treasures for her family. Most of all I'll remember her kind heart and the way she always thought of others.
In Memory of a life so beautifully lived...a heart so deeply loved
