Mr. Lawrence Paul Johnson

Life's Journey

The journey began December 24, 1970, in Fort Worth, Texas with Patsy Ruth Johnson, naming her Christmas present from God Lawrence Paul Johnson.

Paul grew up in Lake Como, Texas and attended Como Elementary School, South High Mount 5th Grade Center, Leonard 6th Grade Center. He graduated from Historic Green B. Trimble Technical High School in 1989. Paul was a member of the "Mighty Marching Bulldogs" (of Tech High). His walk with the Lord was sealed with his baptism by the late Reverend R.L. Sanders at Pleasant Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in 1979. Не served faithfully and diligently in Sunday School, BTU, Youth Choir (President), Youth Ushers, Jr. Deacon, Angelic Gospel and Sanctuary Choir. He even served in the Mission alongside his grandmother, Sis Elizabeth Johnson. As an adult Paul united with The Church at Philadelphia (TCАР)

under The Pastorage of Bishop Ontario Jones. He was ordained as a deacon on July 7th, 2019. At the time of transition, he also was faithfully serving as deacon at Fresh Oil International, Bishop Ontario Jones, current pastor.

Paul stepped up to first base of the workforce at Nokia Mobile Phones, as an assembler. He joined the staff at General Motors as a forklift operator where he remained until his death. Because of his love of people Paul also served with Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors, Como Ferguson Funeral Home,

and Legacy Mortuary Services.

He had a love and passion for animals. He was an active member of the Fort Worth Outlaws, and also P&D's Pit Bull Services.

Those left in the waiting room to cherish the life and legacy of Paul. Spouse; Sharon Harrison; 2 daughters, Courtney N. McAfee, Brittany S. McAfee; 2 step-daughters, Shaniqua Harrison and Shayronta Harrison and stepson, Shamarick Harrison;; 7 grandchildren, Erin McAfee-Davis, Emani McAfee, Eva McAfee, Elonnah Lipkin, Jamillan Pitts, II, Jamerian Pitts, Jaiden Pitts; mother, Patsy Douglas; sisters, Charlesanna Hynes-Miller, Treva Harper, and Cynthia Dixon (Lewis) and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other family and friends.
