Lena Beth Scoggins

Lena's family will receive friends during visitation on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel.

Lena was born on February 7, 1925 in Claude, Texas to parents, Lillie and Oscar Bagwell. She was one of four children and was raised in Claude. The family made their move to Amarillo and later Clovis, New Mexico where she lived for about 10 years. She made the metroplex her home a couple years and retired to Van Buren around 1993, where she lived until the time of her passing.

Lena will be remembered as a loving mother and doting grandmother to her grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye. A. beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, will be dearly missed.

Lena is preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Rose Marie, Jimmy Bagwell, and Eugene Bagwell; husband, Paul Scoggins; her son, Mark Scoggins; daughter, Patsy Bell, and granddaughter, Tammy Smith.

Lena is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hendricks and husband, Edward; grandchildren, Jeff Hendricks of North Richland Hills, Amy Piukana, and husband, Toff, of Decatur, Kerry Hendricks, and wife, Lou Ann, of Keller, Bethany Sours of Clovis, New Mexico, and Robin Bell of Colorado; numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of other family friends and caregivers.
