

Mrs. Lena Faye Walley, age 84, passed away peacefully at her home in Crowley, Texas on Thursday, April 14th, 2022. She was born April 21, 1937 in Enid, Oklahoma to Elmer and Etta Mae Reid. In 1957 she married Samuel Walley. During their 55 years of marriage, they pastored and evangelized in many North Texas area Assembly of God churches. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ and filling her roles as pastor’s wife, mother, grandma and GiGi. Her favorite pastimes were playing board games and working jigsaw puzzles.
Lena is survived by daughter, Sherryl Hardin; twin sister, Alma Angell, six grandchildren (Kelly Turk, Kim Darrenkamp, Jonathan Walley, Christina Tisdale, Josh Walley and Katelyn Walley), ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Samuel Walley, son Michael Walley, sister Pat Mihail, sister Bennie Reid, nephew Gary Mihail and niece Kim Brumwell.
Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, April 18, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76134. Funeral will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Crowley Assembly of God Church, 721 S. Crowley Road, Crowley, TX 76036.
