Lenzell was born on October 22, 1937, in Teague, Texas to Alma and Zelyard Rogers, who both proceeded him in death. He was also proceeded in death by his brother, John, and his sister, Aretha Henson.
He served our country in the Navy, Army, and National Guard Reserves (retired).
Lenzell was married to Eva Williams for 59 years and had three daughters.
He retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Arlington after 30 years of service. Lenzell also served as a deacon at Eastland Street Baptist Church and then as an Usher at Bethel Temple Church in Fort Worth, Texas. He loved serving the Lord. He also enjoyed traveling and took his family on many vacations throughout the years.
Lenzell leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Eva; three daughters, Brenda of Dallas, Texas; Deborah Forge of Fort Worth, Texas; and Gwen Bridgman (William) of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Vera Atkins; two grandsons, Sedric Rogers and Evan Rogers; 10 granddogs (they loved their Pawpaw!), and a host of other family members and friends.
