A Visitation will be held at Laurel Land – Rose Hill Funeral Home, 7301 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas, 76112 on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 am, officiated by Rev. Brad Samuelson, Deacon of St. Rita Catholic Church in Fort Worth.
Leonora was born on April 11th, 1939, in Querétaro, Mexico, to Consuelo Jimenez Ocampo and Angel Alvarez Pina. She later married the love of her life, Manuel Venegas, in Mexico City, and together they built a family rooted in love, resilience, and faith. Though Manuel passed on December 20th, 2002, their bond endured through the generations they raised.
Leonora’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted and loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a cherished great grandmother. Her warmth, strength, and quiet wisdom were constants in the lives of those who knew her. She had a way of making everyone feel cared for, and her presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of home. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the love she so freely gave.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel Venegas, and her oldest son, Juan Manuel Venegas.
Leonora is survived by her children, Agustin Venegas and Cristina Venegas; her grandchildren, Alex Venegas, Juliea Diggs, Jesse Venegas, Ariel Venegas, Christopher Izaguirre, Emily Izaguirre, and Justine Murray; and her great-grandchildren, Jordan Diggs, Ava Diggs, Isabella Venegas, Juliet Venegas, Addison Venegas, and Noah Ayala.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
