Lester Wade Yoder

Lester was born in 1944 to parents Harry and Dorothy Yoder. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Carolyn Dobbs and his brother Robbie Yoder.

He was a graduate of Polytechnic High School.

Lester was a Journeyman Electrician and a 63 year member of the IBEW union. He retired after 25 years at Miller Brewing Company.

Lester was a public servant his entire life. In Everman, TX he coached youth sports, he was Asst. Chief for the Everman Volunteer Fire Department, a Ham Radio operator and a member of Channel 9 REACT. He also served in neighborhood Code Blue patrol in SW Fort Worth.

Lester participated in Bible Study Fellowship for 14 years. He was a member of Everman Church of Christ and South Cliff Baptist Church. He loved woodworking and taking care of his yard.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 63 years Genny Yoder, brother Gil Yoder and his wife Linda, daughter Tracy Spear and her husband Rick, son Rick Yoder, son Steven Yoder, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 3 nieces and numerous extended family members.
