Lila V. Carr 90, fell asleep in the blessed arms of the Savior January 30, 2016. Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Baptist Church 5415 Matlock Road. Visitation: Friday 12-8 p.m. with the family present 5:30- 6:30 p.m. at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Left in caring hands are, her children; Doris Scott, Katie King, Gladys Johnson, T.H. Carr, David Carr(Tina), Cedric Carr(Vicki), one grandchild whom she raised, Terrance Scott(Bridgette); sisters, Mary Harris, Christine Kines, brothers, Hershel Scott, Ezra Scott(Jean), Wayne Scott, Elmer Scott(Mattie), J.W. Scott(Marva), 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren 14, great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
