

Lillian Craver Hicks was born on October 13, 1942, in Morgan, Texas, to the parents of Paul Craver, Senior and Ruby Lee Davenport Craver.
Lillian was reared in Lake Whitney, Texas, where she received her formal education at an early age from Lake Whitney elementary and went on to Hillsboro High School where she graduated. At an early age she attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lake Whitney, Texas.
Lillian was married to Sims Hicks where they settled in Fort Worth, Texas. She became a house wife and also worked for Star-Telegram.
Lillian was a faithful member of United Faith Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Raymond Tennison. She attended and supported the church until failing heath disabled her, then she became under the watch care member under Pastor J.T. Kennard, III.
Lillian is preceded in death by: her husband, Sims Hicks; parents, Paul Craver, Senior and Ruby Lee Craver; children, Billy Craver, Cynthia Hicks and Paul Hicks, III; siblings, Etta Mae Craver, Paul Carver, Jr., Mattie Bell Craver, Lonnie Craver, Marie Yates and Kathleen Craver.
Lillian leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Bennie Anderson, Sandra L. Anderson, David Hicks, Ruby Davis, Patricia Hicks and Kathleen Warren; brother, Willie Craver; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
