Lillie B. Jackson

On Tuesday, June 6, 2022, Lillie Bee Jackson was called home to be with the Lord. Lillie was born to Jim and Jessie Mae Tanner on January 18, 1931 in Frankston, Texas.

Lillie was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School. She attended Prairie View A&M University where she studied Business Education.

Lillie Married Henry Jackson, III on September 13, 1952.

She worked as a Sales Rep with World Book Encyclopedia, worked for General Dynamics and Kmart.

Lillie was a member of Greater Saint Stephen Missionary Baptist Church where she served under her son. She served as a Nurse’s Aide she also sang in the choir.

Lillie was a very family oriented and active woman who enjoyed the company of her family and many others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Jessie Tanner; husband, Henry Jackson, III and son in love, Terry Copeland.

Those who will cherish her memories and continue her legacy are her loving children, Phyllis Jackson, Dwight Jackson (Wanda), Dewayne Jackson (Beverly), Lisa Jackson, Barbara Jackson (Terry—( Deceased), Henry Jackson, IV, Derrick Jackson (Teresa), Oletha Jackson (Curtis) all reside in Fort Worth, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
