Lillie M. Johnson fell asleep in the arms of the Savior on Friday, May 5, 2017, at a local care center. Celebration of Life: 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2951 Evans Ave., the Rev. William T. Glynn, pastor, officiating. Interment: The Gospel Garden in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: Friends may visit Mrs. Johnson noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present 6 to 7 p.m., at Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors. Survivors: Left with precious memories are her children, Linda Fentress (Ken) and Larry E. Johnson; brothers, Earl Bonner (Sarah), Jesse Bonner (Kaye), Tommy Bonner, Wilmer Bonner and Charles Lampkin; sisters, Opal McIntosh (Dewitt) and Mildred Johnson (George); three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
